ASICS Gel-Kayano 22 review. It took me a while to get around to this video, but the Gel Kayano 22s are quite possibly the best running shoe 2017. Obviously, the adidas ULTRA Boost are up there and still even the Gel-Kayano 21. Check below for my reviews and videos on those.

The 22s are about 10-11 ounces, have a 10mm heel-toe drop, and have about an average arch. They’re built for road running so don’t venture off too far. Additionally, they have a new upper that’s softer, lighter, and more breathable. It’s really great stuff. That’s the highlight with these shoes for me. They also fit 1/2 size small as an FYI. These are great running shoes for men and women.

Stay tuned because I will be posting many other running shoe reviews. Also, here’s a pretty good list of running shoes sale: http://www.amazon.com/Running-Mens-Shoes/b/?_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=ur2&node=679286011&tag=rizk-20&linkId=XJGQDC7UTT7C6SHP

Bobb Sanders says:

feet are too wobbly in these

Creass says:

I hate the new upper. Long time Kayano user and this shoe may make me try other brands. Your review is well done though.

moustafa shafie says:

what is difference between nimbus vs kayano?

PREST0N JUSTIN says:

Hi! What are the best running shoes that you’d recommend for cross country on all types of terrain?

Dave Smuckers says:

In defense of the Kayanos, their price-point hasn’t changed in over a decade. On the downside though, the change to the heel-counter many revisions ago when it was made an external feature considerably undermined this shoe’s original purpose as a very stability oriented runner, and the narrowing of the toebox has alienated quite a few longtime wearers.

Shoes are always subjective, but it’s kind of a shame to see a longtime classic being taken in counter-intuitive design directions imo.

Pierce Tan says:

Hey @rizknows , I plan to buy a new running shoe, I usually run 5-7 times a week. I do 10km or 21km during weekends and 5-9km during weekdays. Would you recommend this Kayano 22? If not, what shoes would you recommend? Thanks man! Btw subbed!! Great vid

Kobus WHD says:

hey Riz, can you review more brooks please?

Jack The Singer says:

Sorry Mr.Jeff. Do you think kayano is better than kinsei ?

ihatoon014 says:

My feet are super flat and tend to overpronate + they really hurt and I can’t workout anymore because of the pain I’m left with every time I do so.
I need to find a perfect new pair of shoes as soon as possible. Do you guys recommend these shoes for someone with my case?

Juan Valdez says:

I just bought the same ones 150$

G W says:

Just got a pair of these. Seem to work great for my over pronation. Can’t believe how much better they are than my old Nike running shoes (that were also stability types). Granted we are talking 40% more price but IMO worth it. I’m getting a second pair just for wearing out and about as I find them so comfortable with the pronation issue. So I came here to see what black looked like in the flesh.

SimplyJo says:

i love kayanos but i always go through the back (the cushion sock liner bit)

Theodore Glister says:

does this shoe have a removable insole

canel zommi says:

Are those better than the ultraboosts, when it comes to comfort?

Nono Clem says:

110 euros in France ( yellow fluo ) love it .

Ted Hu says:

Tried it, not so good

Darko Mikulan says:

can u made reviews of acics nimbus 18

hunrb27 says:

I prefer the nimbus. I’m sure the kayano is probably ok, though .

Kevin Cai says:

Hi, been looking at these shoes for a while and I’ve read some reviews. Apparently the soles detached and it was very ‘stable’, I’m not the extreme runner and was wondering if these were worth it. Cheers.

James Reed says:

My wife and I both work for FedEx Express as drivers. We BOTH own this shoe and LIVE in them….literally! We work A LOT of hours and we work out in them and work in the ASICS Gel Kayano 22’s all day long. We BOTH spent weeks if not months trying on every running, walking, and cross trainer out there and there is no better shoe. I purchased 10 pair at one time and my wife purchased 8 pair. No joke. We could always find enough cushion in heel strike but most if not all lacked in cushioning in the front. These are AMAZING! They are light enough to feel like your not “fighting” them working out and heavy enough to feel like they will hold up for any other use/function. We recently discovered that our local Scheels store in Appleton WI has them on sale for $99.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If this is true, and they have my size I’ll buy EVERY pair they have in my size! No joke. Great job Asics!

SD Diecast says:

Are these shoes good for track?

decafcoffee73 says:

I had the Asics Gel Nimbus 15? and i had a problem with my toes popping out at about 3 months. i wear a 13 so i jumpee to 13.5 or 14, forgot, still same problem plus more shoe. Any problems with these? i now wear Brooks Glycerin 13s and after a year no pop out!

God Lag says:

$160??? Might as well get some Jordans

Niel Daniel says:
