PlayTest: Djokovic 2019 Tennis Shoe – Asics Court FF 2019 Review

PlayTest: Djokovic 2019 Tennis Shoe – Asics Court FF Novak.
Our partners ProDirect Tennis sent us the new Asics Court FF Novak tennis shoe which Novak Djokovic is using at the Australian Open 2019. As soon as we tried play tested them out on court, it was easy to see why Djokovic uses these tennis shoes.
With great support from all sides of the shoe, a cushioned feel all around but also stable on the foot, we could see why these tennis shoes would suit a player like Novak Djokovic who relies so much on his all court movement.
The Asics Court FF Novak tennis shoe would suit players from mid club level right up to professional tennis players, anyone who wants to feel supported on the move, able to explode to the ball and maintain balance.

Yuen Cheung Chan says:

Alex are you completely switching to the new pure aero now? what setup do you use on that and did you make any customisation?

imrizzle83 says:

Thanks for the video – QQ, how long did you test the shoes?I ask because there’s a video from Pro:Direct Tennis that suggests the durability is the only weak point of this shoe, but they appear to have tested over weeks of match play.

Lucas K says:

Thanks for the vid guys, i know this is tough in a playtest, but have you heard anything about durability? The barricades continue to be a shoe that lasts. So many of these other shoes have soles that just dont last for competitive players. Any thoughts on sole durability?

Liam A says:

Are you going to be in melbourne australia to do the tennis lessons

Christopher Hardt says:

Amazing Video! I have a question concerning the index finger at the forehand and serve. I have played 12 years with my index finger next to the rest of my fingers. Now i have learned that there has to be a gap between the index finger and the rest of my hand. I watched some videos of pro players and recognized that all players have their hand “open”. My question is which advantages there are having the hand open and if i should change my grip or if its better to do like i did the last 12 years.
I hope you can give me a short answer.
