A short review of the Fila Headway 4 as a hiking shoe. I have been using cross-trainer shoes for most of the hikes. I was looking for a low cost alternative and found these.
The Fila Headway 4:
These lightweight trail running shoes feature mesh and synthetic nubuck uppers, lace-up closure for secure fit, injected foam midsole for cushioning, and trail specific rubber traction outsole for improved grip.
Retail: $35-$45
Our rating: a thumbs up (as long as its a mostly dry hike)
Notes: Not that different from a running/ cross trainer shoe.

Hey I just purchased this shoe, haven’t got it yet, but I plan to use this shoe for running in the morning on grass and soil, will it work that way?
