Nike Air Max Origins
Nike’s revolutionary Air-Sole unit made its way into Nike footwear in 1978. In 1987, the Nike Air Max 1 debuted with visible air in its heel, allowing fans more than just the feel of Air-Sole comfort—suddenly they could see it. Since then, next-generation Nike Air Max shoes have become a hit with athletes and collectors by offering striking color combinations and reliable, lightweight cushioning.

Flyknit Origins

Nike Flyknit technology was inspired by feedback from runners seeking a shoe with the snug (and virtually unnoticed) fit of a sock. Nike embarked on a four-year mission with teams of programmers, engineers and designers to create the technology needed to make the knit upper with static properties for structure and durability. Then the precise placement of support, flexibility and breathability—all in one layer—was refined. The result is a featherweight, formfitting and virtually seamless upper. This unprecedented precision maximizes performance while reducing the material waste of traditional cut and sew by an average of 60%. The equivalent of six recycled plastic bottles are used in every pair of Flyknit shoes, saving millions of pounds of material from reaching landfills.

Eddie Quintos says:

I’m absolutely feeling the 270 line. After purchasing 3 pairs of the mesh version, which I went TTS with a size 11, i had to go down half a size with the flyknit version. The flyknit upper just had less material compared to the mesh versions that just gave me the TTS fit.

Young Solar says:

That colorway is absolute heat! I call it the air max 270 flyknit gundam!

jason yeary says:

Wish they would of kept the same pattern! I like the original better

Gary Gillespie says:

Nice video! These are my first Flyknit shoes, and I like him a lot. I’m wearing them without the laces, and I think they look super clean.

Fureddo28 says:

Nice review Hes!
Question: which is lighter? I believe the Flyknit version is, but how does it impact the comfort? Is the difference really noticeable?

norm paul says:

where you get the jeans with the zipper on the ankle nice , love the vid thank , the knit my pick

TrainSoccerFC says:

Like the normal ones

DirtDirt Dirtiest says:

The flyknit ones are so dope

Mambutu O'Malley says:

The flyknit version is more aesthetically appealing to me.

Raul Ernesto Abreu says:

Amazing all your videos about shoes. I’m new in the channel and I appreciate your work. Pls I would like your opinion about Nike airforce 270. I’m thinking between them or airmax 270. Your opinion could help me a lot. Thanks

Backporch Studios says:

Gimme a better flyknit colorway and I’m sold

Tyler M says:

I love the sole and midsole for the 270s but I hate the upper on the regular 270s

Nathan says:

00:50 awesome camera work

Ivelisse Cassas says:

Yes pull tab needed. Def going to go with true size. Figured would be snug and more comfortable. Blk n white ones in cart. Thanks for video!!! Bought 2 pairs 270.

The Seventh Gamer says:

I like the OGs (mesh). The flyknits look like football cleats now, they should of kept the small branding.

Rizky Ramandhika says:

i’m considering to buy one!

Peter Chow says:

I’m digging the jeans more than the shoes tbh. Lol what are they btw?

Khai Spencer says:

I completely spaced the fact that these were coming out, and bought the regular 270s less than a week ago. Love the shoe, and I really like this colorway and how the FlyKnit looks…so I guess I’ll have to scoop these up to. I honestly like the huge branding but that’s just me.

BigDutchKingTut says:

O.G.’s know airmaxs always fit funny! Usually big!

Rabarberellum 101 says:

Would be nice if Nike made shoes without logo’s and other branding words like AIR etc. Nike always makes me feel like a walking add.

Jugador12 TV says:

Bro. What do you think about the air max 97 plus ?

Siren says:

I genuinely prefer the look of the Flyknit version but hate the colorways they have dropped. If they made something like the black/hot punch 270s but in the flyknit version I’d cop in an instant.

Thedarknightlives Day says:

They kinda remind me of Y-3 QASA High adidas by Yohji Yomamoto in appearance.

MikaXD says:

Anyone watching Marius Lauridsens

MrBuzz says:

Hey man I got a pair of sneakers I don’t wear and I want to sell it. I can offer a good price. This is a pair of Supra Skytop III. Please answer to tell me if you’re interested or not. btw very nice content.

Gary Dioquino says:

Garlic fried rice with 2 fried eggs, 2 slices of spam and one roma tomato chopped. And to wash it all down a nice cold milo drink.

Graham Wiggill says:

They should’ve just given it a racer-style knit upper.

Manny P. says:

Thank you I been waiting to see what someone thought on these flynits fit wise since I don’t have them in my stores.

Kryptonite says:

triple black everything or bust

Florian Krentzel says:

I tried the oreo FK 270 in store the other day and I have narrow feet, but holy hell there’s so much extra material, even a full size down they were still loose. Kinda disappointing since my Hot Punch light bone AM’s fit so well TTS.

Patrick Mcfarland says:

Not worth an extra 20 just a marketing ploy

Daniel Hernandez-Arroyo says:

I would get the Flyknit version but that color way is actually cancerous.

Mark easy says:

ID on the Pants?

Alkana Alkena says:

I think the nike air max 270 is the “air version” of presto

Kyle Dixon says:

It seems whenever Nike makes a hit show or somewhat of a popular shoe they find a way to fuck it up

Vlad Tepes says:

The Flyknit have catastrophic color ways.

MikaXD says:

270 best!!!

Tarek Benchouia says:

the fk version looks surprisingly nice on feet.
