While skeptical anytime a big shoe brand throws tons of marketing money at a new shoe, the Nike Epic React has made me really happy. It’s a solid road go-to for neutral miles and multiple distances. This thing could be great for short or long distance, so definitely worth a look. Especially for the casual wear aspects as well. Love these, but they’re pricey. What do YOU think?

Dustin Peele says:

would you run an ultra in these?

Hermano Almeida says:

Regarding the lateral stability that you had mentioned, try the Odyssey React model. It is a definitely “try” model, and maybe a “must buy” model.

Jorge Rdgz says:

Really debating wether to get the Adidas Ultra Boost or these? Any help? I’m a treadmill runner btw.

Hector Cadeaux says:

My size is 10.5 (US) and find that it runs smaller than I expected. Just walking, the heel counter really really jams into my foot. Additionally, the shoe looks like a banana hammock for my feet.

Ted Martinez says:

Would you go true to size or half size up? Thanks enjoyed your take on these.

Martin Reyes says:

Great shoes, already ran more than 200 miles with mine.

Afif Razali says:

I know Pegasus 35 is coming, but can you review the Pegasus 34?

Zach Derieu says:

Love the reviews! Any chance you’ll get to the Saucony Liberty Iso? Just picked up a pair and love them myself, I wanted to hear what you had to say about them! Basically a refined version of the freedom with a little more stability.

Cody Petrie says:

What’s your opinion on the Under Armour HOVR technology? I’m really curious to hear your thoughts!

Jeremiah Radel says:

Ethan, if you do/did take out that fabric from underneath the insole, can you let me/us know how its changed the shoe? I just went for my first run in these and they are AWESOME! 10 miles including 4×5 minute hill reps and my legs feel fresh as a daisy after. I’m exhausted but wow, this reminds me of the Clifton 1 post runs… but better DURING the run. But like you, I felt a sliding feeling towards the end of the run on flat sections.

morgan von says:

I need a 1/2 size bigger. The shoe feels more like a racing shoe than a daily trainer. It has a nice fast feel.

Excellent review. I got mine today and went for a test run in these this evening. They are much better than I expected, impressive energy return and comfortable. I’d be interested in your views on the Vaporfly 4%, my pair have died after 140 miles and I’m now hunting for the next pair, wearing them genuinley makes me enjoy running faster for longer distances. Keep up the good reviews!

Adhbuth Reddy says:

how about durability ??
Thank you !

staale1985 says:

So expencive, and poorly fitted/made insole that makes you unstable when running ? I would say this is at best a TRY not a buy? This video made me so confused, and thinking, why?

Han-Chiang Lin says:

Hi Ethan! I always appreciate your reviews! Since you’ve run on both the Floatride and Epic React, how would you compare the two?

Maarten Van Kaam says:

I was wondering if the energy return is this 10 mm drop shoe is very noticable in comparison with for example the altra torin or escalante with the 0 drop.

Heng Sun says:

100 miles on the road now… the cushioning felt better than they were out of the box.
