KIGER 3 REVIEW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwQv7skCltk

When comparing the Kiger 4 to the Wildhorse 4, the Kiger is clearly the winner in my book. I’ve loved the Kiger since version 1 and now the 4th version continues with this trend. The updates are minimal and non-invasive. The shoe holds to the previous design nicely. What do YOU think? Let me know in the comments below!

Thank you for the honest reviews. And keep reviewing whatever you want to review, we’re lucky that you take the time to put these together. Good luck with the move!

Shaun Frandsen says:

I tried the WH4 first but had some issues so I got the Kiger 4 instead and they’re amazing! Lightweight, flexible, nimble… I’m a huge fan of the new lacing system and the minimal Flywire. I can see where the WH4 would function well (for protection and stability) , but the Kiger 4 is soooo much better in so many ways! Perfect summer trail running shoe. The swoosh has been killing it lately! Have you tried the new Pegs or Zoom Fly? Interested to hear if you had.

bigber767 says:

This one or altra superior 3?

spotlight761 says:

Too bad they didn’t add the extra lace hole. How breathable is the upper? Can you see light passing through the mesh?

Ian Williamson says:

Ginger can you please when reviewing shoes tell us if they are true to size as this is a huge bug bear with running shoes

Rob Morley says:

Pizza with the cheese is Bruschetta right?

Frikkie PIENAAR says:

Really a great shoe, I have done about 4 training runs and then the grand raid reunion 100 miler, super technical and hard on the shoe. No blisters or foot problems. The only problem was the sole totally came apart. after returning home Nike collected, assessed and refunded me. I am buying a new pair and will keep it only for race day, awesome service by Nike ..Thanks..

naucalli says:

I bought those shoes and after three trail races the soles became apart! Very poor shoes!!

Rolling Hills says:

I loved my Kiger 4’s. I hike Mt Zion for 3 days, and they saved my bacon on numerous occasions from slipping. 38 miles of hiking this terrain, and I didnt have any issues with this shoe. Thanks for your review.

Jai Cortez says:

Awesome review as always. Additionally, nice cap!

Andrew Regas says:

Occasionally I come across a pair of shoes that have a strange angle from the heel up to top of my Achilles. There’s always a void near my heel inside that shoe which leads to severe discomfort in my arch and ankle area. What exactly would you call that so I can steer clear while shoe shopping. I always run in salmons with no problems but I like to occasionally try a new shoe.

Devon Peters says:

Do you think this shoe would work well for running on pavement and “CrossFit/gym” workouts?

Alexander Will says:

Hey  ginger are you wearing the Suunto Spartan? Which one??

anand varghese pothen says:

James Stelter says:

Annoying intro…

James Stelter says:

I enjoyed the Kiger 3, but had lug tears at 200 miles. Maybe that can be expected, has never happened to me. Big fan of the Wildhorse 2, ran them till the sides blew out at 500 miles. Nike Trail are always on my radar, will consider these when looking for new trail shoes in the next few months.

mgmkop says:

Been running in Kigers for a while now. Good, dependable shoe. They need a heel lock, though!

TheTinski07 says:

I have about 200km on mine now, I loved them at first, once that toe guard had softened up a little, but got my first hole in the mesh at about a 100k. 2 more holes coming now and after getting a sore toe yesterday I noticed my big toe has holed the inner lining in both shoes despite them being a good fit (probably from running down hill) I also noticed a small lump on the inside of the toe guard which gave me a blister yesterday.
I have Nike lunarglide7 road shoes which have nearly a 1000k and far more trail and bog than they should have and they are still perfect so I’m disapointed with the durability of the Kiger4’s.

allnovieveryday says:

Stealth/Dark Grey/Volt/Black color combo you are holding is only listed on Nike’s website under the women’s version. You sure that’s a men’s shoe? Men’s options show black, orange, and blue..

Brian Keenan says:

is anyone else just waiting for him to review the kinvaras?
