Reebok Club C Classic Shoe Review — Beware of Fake Leather

This is a review of the Reebok Club C Classic shoe, 6-107268. My first pair was excellent: all-leather, comfortable, durable, and smart-looking. Unfortunately, the next pair I bought was only 10% real leather and 90% fake leather. The fake leather is much stiffer than real leather, causing discomfort to my ankle, and is non-breathable, causing my feet to get hot and sweaty, even in cold weather.

The following video gives a favorable review of the Reebok Club C before the switch-over to fake leather:

Dear Reebok Company: Please bring back the all-leather Club C shoe. Raise the price if you need to. The new fake-leather shoe is simply not acceptable. Alternatively, offer a similar all-leather shoe, call it the Club CL or something, and price it accordingly.

I looked up the meaning of the word “upper” (with respect to shoes) in the dictionary, and it said “everything above the sole”. So if you advertise this shoe as having a “leather upper”, then ALL of the upper should be made of real leather, like your old style shoe.

If you change the composition of this shoe back to all leather or make a new similar all-leather shoe, let me know. I’ll buy a pair and post my new review here. In the meantime, I can’t recommend this shoe.
